Staropramen
Brand marketing, 2019-2020
To celebrate 150 years of the Staropramen brewery, Prague’s Cocoon agency was tasked with creating two unique multi-media brand books. Scroll on to check out the video case studies for both projects.
The first “book” – known as the “Hidden Archives” – is an audiovisual photo album that recounts the history of Staropramen. Using photos from the Staropramen archive, Cocoon collaborated with Silencio VFX animation studio to bring each original image to life. As the external copywriter, my role was to design the album narrative and pen the scripts dedicated to each photo, working closely with the internal creative team at Cocoon to select the images and develop the storyboards.
The second “book” – labeled “The Brick” for its role in defining the building blocks of the brand – combines printed and digital storytelling approaches to create an interactive experience for the internal teams at Staropramen. After accessing the electronic tablet from its brick-shaped case, the user is invited to take a tour through the brand elements, which are represented by a blueprint of the original Staropramen brewery in Prague. As the external UI copywriter, my role was to work with Cocoon’s creative team to develop the texts, communicating everything from the brand’s heritage through to the step-by-step brewing process.
